Nestled in the quiet mountains of Nishiawakura, this experience combines Yoga Therapy, somatic practices, ACT-informed inquiry, nature, and mentorship to create more than a retreat.

THE INTENTION
My role is not to fix you.
My role is not to tell you who you should become.
This work is about helping you uncover what already matters deeply to you, reconnect with your own wisdom, and create a way forward that feels embodied, practical, and true.
Healing is important, but healing is not always the destination. Sometimes healing creates space for something larger: to contribute, create, connect, lead, change direction, or live more fully. In yoga, this may be understood as Dharma — moving toward a life that feels aligned with your deeper values and purpose. And perhaps that is where the real work begins

This retreat creates a space for:

A typical day may include:
Morning
• Gentle movement, breathwork, meditation or walks

Nokishita Toshokan is more than a place to stay.
Nestled in the mountains of Nishiawakura Village in Okayama, surrounded by forests and rivers bordering Hyogo and Tottori, it offers a quieter rhythm—away from cities, schedules, and constant noise.
This is a place for slowing down.
Morning walks through the village.
The changing colours of the seasons. Local food and simple shared meals.
Time to journal, rest, breathe, and reconnect.
Nishiawakura itself is a small and welcoming community where life moves a little differently. Local craftspeople, forests, rivers, and the changing landscape become part of the experience—not as activities to tick off, but as invitations to observe, reflect, and reconnect.
For many guests, one of the most memorable parts of staying here is not simply the mountains or the village itself.
It is having enough space to hear themselves again.
