Asana・Pranayama・Meditation・Yoga Therapy

Sunita has been instructing yoga to numerous individuals globally and possesses extensive expertise in this domain. Her experience has endowed her with the exceptional ability to evaluate and comprehend

her students' strengths, capabilities, and limitations.

Her teaching methodology is grounded in a scientific approach to Yoga, utilizing essential tools such as movement, deep breathing, and maintaining poses. Her yoga approach is therapeutic, recognizing that each body accumulates emotions, thoughts, and vibrations due to

various life influences, some of which are detrimental to one's well-being.

"I believe Yoga is the key, and we can harness its magic for self-development and self-transformation.

With yoga and dynamic movement, we keep the physical body fit and robust. Through meditation, we cultivate the mental strength necessary for desired life changes and emotional balance. Spiritual growth fosters harmony and peace within.

These three aspects are crucial to living a truly wonderful life on Earth. A positive attitude is essential to overcome internal limitations and is vital for integrating well-being of body, mind, and soul."

She empowers her students to uncover their hidden strengths and motivates them to use these unique abilities to enhance their lives and those of others. She views Yoga as a necessary and straightforward method to maintain physical and mental health, an effective way to release negative energies from the past and present, and a key force in helping you be yourself.

Yoga is a journey that extends beyond asanas; it is a growth process that integrates your being and elevates you to higher internal planes.

Background Information:

Sunita began learning yoga in 1991 at Vishwayatan Yoga Ashram in Delhi, under the tutelage of the controversial Swami Dhirendra Brahmachaari, who was also Indira Gandhi's personal teacher, India's only female Prime Minister.

The style, known as Suksham Yoga or Yoga of the Subtle or Inner Body, is a tantric form of Hatha Yoga emphasizing kriyas and strong breathing techniques, and is considered highly effective for maintaining good health.

Despite learning other popular styles, she still regards Suksham Yoga as one of the superior and simpler yoga forms that efficiently preserve youthful vitality and mental strength.

In 2009, she discovered and fell in love with Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. As a Sikh, the mantras and prayers resonated with her, reconnecting her to her roots. She noticed similarities between the yoga she learned at Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari's ashram and Kundalini Yoga, realizing that Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari and Yogi Bhajan were friends who shared insights on the hidden and secret aspects of yoga before Yogi Bhajan introduced the powerful and spiritual Kundalini Yoga to the United States, regarded as a pure form of White Tantra.

Her yoga emphasizes therapy with a focus on both physical and mental health. She believes individuals are defined by their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, and the energy they emit returns to them. The energy we project attracts what we consciously or unconsciously think, feel, and express. Harness the magic of Yoga to consciously control your thoughts and

Achieve harmony with yourself!

She has previously taught in Scandinavia, Norway, and Sweden, and currently teaches in Dharamshala during the summers and Goa during the winters. She resides in South Goa, leading a simple life in a charming village in Colomb, nestled between the Patnem and Palolem seas.
